Overview

In order to simplify things we will separate the machine Systems into three categories:

 

1- Control System: just an old computer with LPT port, and a costomed program, you can use my program, or you may use mach-3 program, the program will be used to open the (G code or PLT) file and then generate two types of signals:

A- Pulse and direction signals: which will be used to command the stepper motors.

B- Laser commanding signal: which will activate or deactivate the laser beam, and will also change its output power.

The LPT port, the LPT port will be connected to the stepper-motor-drivers and to the Laser power unit, and that's how the control System works, it is soooo easy ins't it, later you will learn how to do the connection and the configration step by step.

2-The electrical System: The electical system consists of stepper motors, the motor-drivers and the laser package, which consists of laser tube, laser power and the cooling system.

3- The mechanical system: The mechanical system consists of the strucuture, the cutting table, and the X & Y axes, whil X axes consists of a slider, a timing built, a synchronous gear and a tension bully and two roller bearings to hoist the bully.

on the pther hand Y axes consists of two sliders, two timing builts, steel rod, two synchronous gears and tw tensioning bullies and six roller bearings to hoist the bully and the synchronising gears.
